If you are looking to work within the hospitality sector at a licensed venue environment in Queensland, it is a mandatory requirement that you hold a competency in SITHFAB002 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol.
This unit applies to all levels of sales personnel involved in the sale, service and promotional service of alcohol in licensed premises, such as bars, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, packaged liquor outlets, wineries, breweries and distilleries.
Students will learn under the guidance of the very best qualified and professional trainers.
Within this nationally accredited skill set, students will gain an understanding about their obligations under the law and the effects that alcohol has on the body. They’ll also learn how to advise patrons on standard drinks, assist customers to drink within appropriate limits, assess and monitor the levels of intoxication in patrons and identify and effectively manage customers to whom sale or service must be refused.

Training will take place either onsite or at our training facility at the Bavarian Haus Restaurant in Surfers Paradise, 41 Cavill Avenue Surfers Paradise Q 4217.
This unit will be assessed in person using a combination of written assessment an practical skills observation.

Students are required to wear closed in, non-slip shoes for the practical training.
Students may also be required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Assessment to determine any learner support requirements.

Completed similar courses or training? If students hold prior relevant work experience or formal qualifications issued by other Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), these may count as credit towards specific units.
