FUNDING
YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR GOVERNMENT FUNDING ASSISTANCE IF YOU MEET THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

USER CHOICE

The User Choice program provides a public funding contribution towards the cost of training and assessment for eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees. The program provides the flexibility for apprentices, trainees and their employers to select a preferred training provider from a list of Skills Assure Suppliers (SAS) for the delivery of accredited training to meet their specific needs.

The program recognises that employment-based training, aligned to skills short ages, is a critical priority for the Queensland Government. It aims to provide funding aligned to the skills needs of the industry and respond to changing government priorities.

Apprenticeships and traineeships combine training with working in a real job, with a workplace mentor/supervisor while earning a wage.
